Our Philosophy
Muntindilaw National High School is situated at St. Martin de Porres St., Brookside Hills Subdivison, Barangay Muntindilaw, Antipolo City with an area of 6,450 sq. m. It is fourteen(14) kilometers away from the city proper. This school was established in S. Y. 1999-2000 during the time that the government of Rizal imposed the zoning system. Initially this school was an extension of Antipolo National High School and situated within the Elementary grounds. It also started with seventy-three students all first year occupying three classrooms with three teachers headed by the Teacher-in-Charge, Mrs. Victorina R. Yuson.
In June 2002, Mrs. Rowena B. Sison was assigned as the new school head until July 17, 2007. During her time she worked devotedly and persistently with the local government to request for a new school site. It was in the year 2006 that her request was granted.
In July 18, 2007 to December 1, 2008, Mrs. Eufrocina B. Adea served as school head. In her term, the school was transferred to its new site with a two storey-four classroom building wherein there was another two-storey four classroom building being constructed. The call to separate of this extension school from its mother school in order to have its own plantilla was approved on June 18, 2008.
At present, there are already five two-storey buildings with eighteen classrooms. Four of the five buildings were built under the principal led budget and the other one which has four classrooms was donated by the SM. Foundation. Another building being constructed was donated by PPP.
Muntindilaw National High School has twenty seven national Funded Teachers including the Principal, Miss Marilyn D. Zapanta and the Guidance Counsellor. Miss Zapanta aims at improving academic skills and upgrading moral values among its students.
